Photo of the Week: More Summer Powder Days

Thanks to an impressive string of well-aligned tropical storms in the north Atlantic this summer, the temptation to head for the southern Andes has been minimal. Four of the five major tropical systems (Arthur, Bertha, Cristobal and Edouardo) produced overhead surf (summer powder) conditions for many northeast locations, during their passage offshore. And several of the storms kept the summer powder flying in varying amounts for a few solid days at a time.

With fall now upon us, snowflakes will soon be flying, and with the second half of the Atlantic’s tropical storm season still playing out, there will be no shortage of stoke going around in the weeks ahead.

Ski you out there in/on the h2o.

Brian
