With Mother Nature throwing us some truly spectacular late summer weather lately… and with things like picking apples, riding trails, swimming, paddling, harvesting, hiking, long board sessions, garden feasts, trail building, doing wood, helping friends, a few mountain climbs, hanging with family and more apple picking demanding most of our time…updating the website here has taken the back seat to just about everything else lately. Thanks for understanding. Do not despair, however, as the nights have been cool, the first frost has come and gone (has anyone been sliding on frost?) and the official start of the fall season is just a couple of days away.
Within just a matter of weeks, snow will very likely be falling in the mountain. No doubt, we’re feeling that itch to ski again. But what will it take to scratch that itch this time around? A nice, heavy frost? A micro dusting? Or the first solid dump? It’s always such a great time of year to be skiers. (Click on the thumbnail below to see larger photo)
