Bolton Valley Gets A Wind Turbine

Bolton Valley is now the first Vermont ski area to install its own wind turbine for generating electricity. The turbine, built and installed by the Barre, VT-based Northern Power Systems, is estimated to generate nearly ten percent of the ski area’s electricity needs, while reducing annual carbon emissions by nearly 300 tons.
